That's it, the thermostat is going down to 55

Panera Lunch: 7 dollars.
Groceries: 23 dollars.
Fitness Club: 33 dollars.

One Hundred and Thirty Dollar Heating Bill: Priceless.

Maybe it would be worth your while to purchase a programmable thermostat. Lowe's has Hunter models for $29.99 (but I am not sure if that one can handle cooling during the summer). I suppose you would have to ask your landlord for permission to install it. . . . It all depends on how long you plan to stay in the apartment, I guess.

It's wierd--it's never been that high. A programmable thermostat would be nice, but right now I'm already manually turning it down at night and back up when I get home from work.

Of course outside temperature plays a big role, so I suppose this was just the first bill once it got really cold (I think this might have been for December, I'll have to look again).
